Welcome to my theatre studio! I offer multiple virtual sessions and workshops to help you expand your knowledge and grow as a performer. I have an MFA in Theatre Performance and Pedagogy and experience teaching acting, voice, intimacy choreography, and burlesque monologue classes and workshops. My goal is to help you meet your performance goals with a focus on storytelling and exploration. I can't wait to help you build your confidence and grow into the performer you were meant to be!

Class/Workshop Offerings:
Burlesque Monologue Work:
Looking for a new way to get into your monologue work and character development? This class utilizes elements of burlesque chair dancing to get you into your body and breath. It also uses music as a way into character development. This can be taught as a workshop or as an individual session.
Acting:
Meeting you where you are in experience as a performer, this class helps you build your technique and storytelling through monologue work, character development, and improv activities. The focus is to meet your personal performance goals and build your confidence.
Acting the Song:
Focusing on the storytelling aspect of the song, this class is about building the performance behind your song. Vocal direction is a part of this class, but the focus is on breaking down the acting beats and the language of the song. This class meets you where you are on your musical theatre journey, but can be very helpful if you are preparing for a performance or audition.
Audition Prep:
Whether you are preparing to audition for your dream role or college or just a show that sounds fun, this class focuses on picking the pieces that show off your talent and connect to the character if you are auditioning for a show. The focus is to help you craft your performance and help you audition with confidence.
Build Your Book:
Having a book with songs that you love performing and show off your range is very important when crafting your musical theatre auditions. The focus of this class is working to find those songs and get them performance ready. This class includes song research, vocal and acting coaching, and cutting your music.
Voice:
Meeting you where you are in experience as a singer, this class helps you build your technique and storytelling through song work, vocal exercises, and music theory elements. The focus is to meet your personal performance goals and build your technique.
Shakespeare:
Are you a fan of Shakespeare or need help with an audition or show? This class is a more specialized version of the acting class. It helps you build your technique and storytelling through text analysis, monologue work, and character development. The focus is to help you understand and perform Shakespeare with confidence and emotional connection.
Intimacy Choreo Workshops:
Are you a director, high school teacher, or college professor looking to teach your students and/or performers the basic tenants of intimacy choreography and setting boundaries? This workshop works with performers to help them learn how to vocalize their boundaries and how to work with an intimacy choreographer. It can just be a workshop or in tandem with my work on your show or in your class as an intimacy choreographer.
